The Two Organizations Build on Multiple, Already Successful Collaborations
Cologne/Germany, August 22, 2016 - IAB and many of its top executives will take the stage at this year’s dmexco in Cologne on September 14-15, 2016, benefitting from this ever-more important gathering for thought leadership on global digital media and marketing. Both organizations will use this most recent manifestation of their alliance to extend joint efforts into other potential markets around the world. As a global business and innovation platform, dmexco offers IAB and its members a central place to exchange ideas and develop global business relationships. This latest collective endeavor continues the commitment the two organizations have built over the years. Recently, at the IAB @ Mobile World Congress conference in February 2016 in Barcelona, dmexco and IAB partnered on the notably successful content creation and audience development of the full-day event, themed around “Turning Mobile into Mobility”. It was sponsored by Facebook, Google, and Nasdaq and attracted 500 decision-makers representing the most important brands, agencies, publishers, and technology companies.
David Doty, Executive Vice President and CMO, IAB: “IAB and dmexco have enjoyed many years of collaboration, joining forces to produce dynamic events that encourage the evolution of the global digital media and advertising landscape. This relationship has been valuable for our organization and for our membership, and we have yet to tap into its full potential. We look forward to working together in Cologne and in the future, as we explore other markets around the world.”
Christian Muche and Frank Schneider from dmexco: “The US digital economy is not just the largest but also the most important market for business and innovations, and it has been strongly anchored at dmexco for many years now. dmexco’s expanded partnership with IAB will further strengthen this bond. It’s a classic win-win situation for both organizations. dmexco will provide IAB and its members with inspiring knowledge sharing and unique potential for making good business deals. In return, dmexco will benefit from the extensive expertise of IAB and its high-caliber speakers at the conference.”
